This policy explains what information Saloon Cuts ("we" or "us") collects through this website, when you book with us, and when you answer one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you book online.

  • Our Book buttons open our booking page on SteadyChair at steadychair.com, our online booking system. When you book, it records your name, your mobile number, the service and barber you chose, the appointment time, and your email address if you choose to give one.

When you answer one of our ads.

  • If you fill in a form in one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, Meta passes us the name and mobile number you confirm on that form and your answers to its questions, such as the kind of cut you want and when you are thinking of coming in.

When you visit this website.

  • This website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which pages and buttons get used. Google Analytics uses cookies and records technical details such as your browser, your device, an approximate location worked out from your IP address, and the page you came from. It does not tell us who you are.
  • This website has no contact or sign-up form of its own. If you call, text or email us, that goes straight to the shop.

How we use it

  • To book, confirm and remind you about your appointments.
  • To answer questions you send us.
  • To follow up on an ad form you filled in. We only text you if you ticked the box agreeing to texts.
  • To see which ads and pages lead to bookings, so we know which ones are worth running. This is counting, not profiling.
  • To keep business records and meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. These services handle it on our behalf, only to do the jobs listed:

  • SteadyChair (steadychair.com), our online booking system, which stores your bookings.
  • Small Cove Media, which runs our website, advertising, booking page and text messaging, and handles this information on our behalf.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which runs our ads and ad forms. Anything you enter in a Meta form is also covered by Meta's own privacy policy.
  • Google, which provides Google Analytics 4 for this website.
  • We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our business, our customers or others.

Text messages

If you agree to receive text messages from Saloon Cuts, we use your phone number only to send the messages you asked for. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of booking or buying anything.

Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and contact records for as long as you are a customer and for a reasonable time afterwards, so we still have your history if you come back. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices and rights

  • Ask us what information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete your information.
  • Stop texts at any time by replying STOP.

We do not sell personal information. If you live in Colorado and the Colorado Privacy Act applies to us, you can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and the date at the top.
